A Marion County man accused of breaking into a local residence and taking a nap on the victim’s couch is facing additional charges after methamphetamine and stolen tools were allegedly found in his possession.
On Tuesday, April 29, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrived at the victim’s home located on NE 114th Avenue Road in Fort McCoy. The victim claimed that a man, later identified as 29-year-old Kurt Allen Bunnell II, had battered him inside the residence before fleeing from the area, according to the arrest report.
The deputy mentioned in the report that Bunnell was spotted in the area and detained in handcuffs. While speaking with the deputy, Bunnell claimed that he thought the incident location was “his brother’s house,” and he had “decided to take a nap” inside the home when he was woken up by the victim…
