Over 200 students have been expelled from Marion County schools, with only 15 school days left until the end of the school year.
The data will be presented as part of the student discipline report during the next regular meeting of the Marion County School Board on Tuesday, May 13.
According to the report, through April 16, 2025, approximately 201 students have been expelled from local schools. The time span from that date to when classes began (August 12, 2024) is approximately 136 school days (i.e., no weekends and holidays)…
