GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Sunday marked the last day of the fourth annual Grand Bonsai Exhibition at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida.
More than 60 trees were on display from participants from all over North Florida. People who attended got the chance to learn about bonsai trees, whether the tree was brand new or a hundred years old.
“Some of the trees in age themselves are anywhere from 50 to 75, to in some cases, we don’t necessarily have them on display here, but some of our members have trees that are hundreds and multiple hundreds of years old,” shared Charlie Santostefano president of the Gainesville Bonsai Society…
