GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A Dixie County resident has been indicted on federal charges for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.
Ronald Carl Peavy II, 49, of Old Town, is accused of possessing with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. If convicted, Peavy faces a potential maximum sentence of life in federal prison.
