MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A series of criminal activities found several Marion County Citizens becoming acquainted with their new environs at the Marion County Jail this past Friday, thanks to the quick work of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement responded to an incident at the 12700 Block of SW 64th Circle, where the suspect was arrested for stealing a hard drive and thumb drives from a room she rents to the victim. The alleged told authorities that she took the items to make certain that the victim paid his rent.
Authorities responded with multiple units to the 5000 Block of SE 33rd Terrace in reference to a burglary in progress. The victim told law enforcement that when he arrived at the dwelling, that the home had sustained heavy damage. The suspect was found asleep in the garage.
When the alleged awoke, he attempted to flee the scene on a bicycle, one that had a distinctive back tire. The alleged was apprehended and taken into custody, having caused more than $4,000 in damage. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
A traffic stop in Marion County for speeding led to the arrest of a habitual traffic offender. A Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy made contact with the driver, and made the determination that the alleged, Brandon Buckholz’ s license had been revoked.
