Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

Deputy Larson and Deputy Trainee Knapp pulled over a vehicle at Brooke Road and Lake Road after the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver, Matthew Quick, was found to be driving without a valid license. A search of the vehicle turned up a bag of crystal meth. Quick, who was already on felony probation for meth possession, was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

Warrant arrest uncovers more charges

Deputies responded to SE 142nd Place to locate Howard Reece, who had a warrant for domestic simple assault and felony criminal mischief. After finding and arresting Reece, deputies discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a search. He now faces additional charges and was transported to the Marion County Jail…
