Habitual traffic offender busted with baggies of narcotics behind passenger seat

A Leesburg man who got arrested for driving with a suspended license was also charged for narcotics found behind the passenger seat.

A deputy spotted 41-year-old Noah Lane Bush driving a brown minivan without lit headlights or taillights on Sunset Harbor Road around 8:55 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He stopped the vehicle in the 15100 block of Sunset Harbor Road as a result.

When the deputy approached Bush, he was talking on the phone to someone about being bonded out of jail. He then told the deputy that his license was suspended. He was subsequently arrested and put in the back of the patrol vehicle, the report said.

The deputy proceeded to inventory Bush’s vehicle and found a bag behind the front seat. Inside was a wallet with multiple baggies. Two contained fentanyl, and two contained methamphetamine. There was also a glass pipe in the bag, the report said…
