Trapped driver extricated by Marion firefighters after crashing into trees

A driver who became trapped in his vehicle after crashing into trees in Ocala was extricated by local firefighters on Tuesday.

Marion County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to reports of an accident near the intersection of SE 95th Street and SE 25th Avenue in Ocala on Tuesday, July 22, at around 1:27 p.m.

The 911 caller reported that the driver of the pickup truck was entrapped in the vehicle, which was lodged between a few trees.

About nine minutes after they were dispatched, firefighters from Shady Station #16, Belleview Station #18, and Spruce Creek Station #30 arrived on the scene to find the driver pinned inside the wreckage…
