Marion fentanyl trafficker gets 20 years in prison

A Marion County man who pleaded guilty to fentanyl and cocaine distribution charges will spend the next 20 years in federal prison.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber sentenced 49-year-old Reddick resident Alfred Charles Denmark, Jr. to two decades behind bars for possession with intent to distribute more than 400 grams of fentanyl and 500 grams of cocaine, distribution of more than 500 grams of cocaine, and possession of two firearms by a convicted felon.
