Father arrested after admitting to altercation with disobedient son over dirty dishes

A Belleview man was arrested for battery after admitting to pushing his son during an argument sparked by dirty dishes.

A deputy responded to a verbal disturbance at an undisclosed Marion County residence around 7:50 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The son of 54-year-old James David Vidican advised that his father became verbal with him over dishes.
