GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Benjamin Tyrell Lewis, 41, was arrested yesterday on a warrant for allegedly shooting into a vehicle occupied by two adults and two children.
At about 10 p.m. on July 29, the victim, who had previously dated Lewis, went to Lewis’s apartment at Fairview Apartments (1600 block of NE 16th Avenue) to get her cell phone, which was pinging at that location. She got into a verbal argument with Lewis that escalated into a physical fight, and another woman joined in after Lewis reportedly told the woman to “get [the victim].”…
