Gainesville crematorium may soon be running again, residents unhappy with proposed improvements

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The crematory unit at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home may soon be back up and running, this time under new ownership yet again. Residents have complained about the facility in the past.

“People don’t need to be breathing this. It’s toxic,” shared resident Dan Randall, who is against the crematorium.

Randall lives just feet away from the funeral home. The new owner, Connor Moloney, wants to get the unit back up and running by Jan. 1, but Randall has some concerns…
