A 66-year-old man was arrested earlier this week for felony littering after a large dump site containing over 1,100 pounds of trash was discovered in Silver Springs Shores.
On Wednesday, July 30, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a littering tip from a local code enforcement officer advising that an illegal dump site was found near the intersection of Oak Lane Way and Emerald Loop Way, according to the arrest report.
