ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The State Board of Education next week will consider taking action after a widely publicized controversy about a social-media post by Alachua School Board Chairwoman Sarah Rockwell following the death of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. Rockwell posted on Facebook, “Oh did Hulk die? I didn’t even know. Good. One less MAGA in the world.” She later deleted the comment and apologized, but the issue caused an uproar during a July 31 school board meeting.
