$27,000 lottery ticket claimed by Marion County man

A Marion County man has claimed over $27,000 in winnings from a lottery ticket that he purchased at a local gas station.

Donnell Cox has claimed approximately $27,124.21 from his winning Fantasy 5 ticket from the July 24, evening drawing of the game.

The ticket, which originally went unclaimed, was sold at the Lake Weir Mobil gas station at 13530 E Highway 25 in Ocklawaha. The winning numbers for the evening drawing on July 24 were 1, 3, 6, 23, and 31.

Cox was one of four winners who matched all five numbers for that particular drawing. All four individuals split the prize. Approximately 149 individuals who purchased Fantasy 5 tickets for that drawing matched four of the numbers, each claiming $117…
