A road rage incident on Interstate 75 in Marion County led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man after he was accused of pointing a firearm at another driver.
On Wednesday, August 20, at around 7:50 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol was notified of a road rage incident that had occurred on I-75 in Ocala. A male victim alleged that the driver of a Hyundai Sonata had pointed a black Glock 9mm handgun at him during the altercation, according to the FHP arrest report.
The victim told FHP that he had gotten into “some type of argument” with a male suspect, later identified as Michael Mario Rojas, on the I-75 southbound entrance ramp from State Road 200.
