OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who has been accused of scamming a victim over 65 years old.
Jiang Jingcai, 41, faces charges of fraud and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
Deputies say Jingcai first called the victim on Tuesday claiming to be a woman named “Sydney” from the investigations division of his bank. He requested that the victim purchase $4,000 in gift cards and mail them to different addresses to protect his personal information…
