A 35-year-old Ocala man is behind bars after he was accused of battering and choking his girlfriend during an argument over infidelity.
On Tuesday, September 16, the female victim informed the Marion County Sheriff’s Office that her boyfriend, Eliecer Tirado-Hernandez, had battered her and threatened to kill her earlier that morning, according to the arrest report.
An MCSO corporal noted in the report that the victim had “significant bruising and swelling” near her right eye, and additional bruises were observed behind her left ear. The victim also complained of pain in her jaw and teeth, as well as a loss of hearing in her left ear…
