An Ocala woman was arrested for aggravated assault after she allegedly fired a gun at a shed in her backyard during an argument with a man that turned “heated.”
On Sunday, September 28, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a residence located on SE 38th Avenue in Ocala in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival at the home, the deputy made contact with two individuals: the male victim and the female suspect, who was identified in the arrest report as Brandy Mechelle Coker.
The victim told the deputy that he had gotten into an argument with Coker prior to the incident. According to the victim’s statement, he was “working” in the shed located in the backyard when Coker allegedly “fired a round” into the structure…
