A Villager was arrested after paying a visit to a known drug house.
A dark gray Kia Soul driven by 66-year-old Wendy Allyn Roberts of the Village of Chatham was spotted this past Friday at a residence known for drug activity in Summerfield, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy noted that after leaving the drug house, the vehicle which was being operated in a suspicious manner. During a traffic stop, Roberts presented the deputy with a driver’s license which had expired two months earlier. She did not have the vehicle’s registration or insurance information.
The Massachusetts native gave the deputy permission to search her vehicle. The deputy found a tin-foil package in Roberts’ wallet. The deputy asked Roberts about the substance in the tin-foil package. She claimed she had “never seen it before.” A test showed the substance contained fentanyl and cocaine…
