Amazon buys new Ocala distribution center for $97.7 million

Amazon just spent nearly $98 million to acquire a new, 1,085,280-square-foot warehouse near its current fulfillment center in Ocala.

According to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts, Amazon.com Services, LLC, purchased the large warehouse located at 3171 NW 44th Avenue within the Florida Crossroads Logistics Center for $97,675,200 from Ocala 44 RRL, LLC.

State corporate records show that Ocala 44 RRL, LLC, is owned to LXP Industrial Trust, which is a company that acquires and develops industrial real estate across the United States.

According to an informational packet from commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, the 89.70-acre parcel features a distribution center and riser building.

The facilities have parking capacity for 393 semi-trucks, 210 dock doors, and 1,600-square-foot of office space. The spec office was finished in February 2024, according to Marion County property records…
