ALACHUA, Fla. – Elesvan Roblero Macario, 61, was arrested yesterday morning after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop and then kicking and hitting the FHP Trooper who apprehended him.
At about 10:02 a.m. on October 1, a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Macario near the intersection of U.S. Hwy 441 and NW 173rd Street in Alachua. The trooper reported that Macario fled on foot from his vehicle, and when the trooper caught up to him, Macario physically resisted being handcuffed by aggressively swinging his arms and cell phone at the trooper…
