Pilot of plane that took off from KY, crashed in Florida is Bowling Green native

The pilot of a plane that took off from Kentucky and crashed in Florida, killing all on board, was a Kentucky native.

Spencer C. Arnold, 33, of St. Petersburg, Florida, was a Bowling Green native and attended Greenwood High School, according to his obituary at flyspencer.com.

“After high school, his adventurous spirit took him to Flying Tiger Aviation in Louisiana, where his passion for flight first took root. His time there sparked a lifelong love of the sky and set the course for the dreams he would later chase with such determination and joy,” his obituary states…
