Somehow in the past few weeks the letters at the sign for the Phillips Villas were mysteriously stripped off.
Nobody seems to be quite clear on how or why it happened at the villas on County Road 42 in the Marion County section of The Villages.
It wasn’t vandals. It appears to be a misguided, misinformed work crew.
It’s the latest blow to the residents of the Phillips Villas, who have been on edge since learning that a Walmart is going to be built near their homes on County Road 42 near Mulberry Grove Plaza…
