ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) – Forward Focus is targeting some of the challenges facing Eastern Alachua County, from jobs and housing to healthcare and education.
The program is to bring residents and county leaders together to identify community needs and find solutions. Assistant County Manager Missy Daniels says the effort is centered on listening to the people who live there.
“The whole Forward Focus initiative is to support resident-led ideas,” Daniels said. “We want to hear what they need, what they want, and we want them to stay involved to help us figure out how we bring about change.”…
