OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A Port St. Lucie man was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and charged with four felonies, including domestic battery by strangulation and kidnapping, false imprisonment, with the crimes going on for nearly three hours, on Oct. 23 and Oct. 24, at the residence of the victim in Ocala.
Gavin Parker Johnson, 24, Port St. Lucie, was arrested on the following charges: committing domestic battery by strangulation, felony; kidnapping, false imprisonment, felony; hindering, delaying or preventing communication to a law enforcement officer or judge of information in relation to the commission or possible commission of an offense or violation, felony and criminal mischief, occupying a dwelling or commercial property and causing $1,000 or more in damages to property. The accused was also charged with a misdemeanor for battery causing bodily harm. Johnson is being held at the Marion County Jail without bond.
