UF dining hall employee arrested after bringing firearm on campus, police say

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A University of Florida dining hall employee was arrested Friday after police say he brought a firearm on campus.

UFPD officers say surveillance camera footage shows Kenyata McCoy, 21, entering the restroom in the Broward Dining Facility, where he worked as a dishwasher, just after midnight.

They say he was in the restroom for about 10 minutes before the next employee entered the stall and found a gun in the sink…
