Marion K-9 unit ranked best Firearm Detection team in state

A K-9 unit from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office recently finished in first place for firearm detection at a statewide competition, while several other local units also came home with awards.

According to MCSO, members of the office’s K-9 unit recently traveled to Brevard County, where they trained and competed alongside more than 50 other canine teams from across the state.
