A former Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been sentenced to more than 25 years behind bars for the 2024 shooting death of his girlfriend.
This past Friday, 33-year-old Leslie Boileau was sentenced to 25 years, 8 months, and 20 days in prison. A six-person jury had found him guilty of manslaughter with a firearm in early October.
