A Starke resident died last week after the vehicle he was driving struck two telephone poles in the west end of Putnam County.
The single-vehicle crash took place at 3:44 p.m. Friday on State Road 20 near West Cowpen Lake Road in the Hawthorne area, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.
The 35-year-old man, whose name was not listed in the press release, was driving a sedan westbound in the right lane of S.R. 20 north of Cowpen Lake Road, authorities said…
