Two men will spend the rest of their lives in prison following a violent home invasion in Micanopy that ended with a police helicopter tracking suspects through the woods.
A jury found 52-year-old Ronald Cyril Ganser and 60-year-old Mark J. Cambre guilty last week on charges including kidnapping, burglary with assault, and armed robbery. Following the verdict, Judge Peter M. Brigham immediately sentenced both defendants to life in prison.
