The owner of Gainesville City Entertainment, also known as GNV Entertainment, has come under fire for allegedly failing to pay his contracted employees, specifically DJs, after they have rendered their services. The allegations were made by a local bar owner who claims to have been notified by three different individuals that they have not received payment for over a month after performing at his establishment. The bar owner also alleges that a significant portion of his payment is pocketed by the owner of GNV Entertainment. As a result, the bar owner has decided to cease using the services of GNV Entertainment and is encouraging other business owners to do the same. He also advises aspiring DJs to negotiate directly with bar and restaurant managers or owners to set up their gigs, thereby earning more and establishing their own business contacts.
