December 9 Alachua County Commission Regular Meeting

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Commission will conduct its regular meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. The meeting is in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). The daytime meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. The evening meeting begins at 5 p.m.

The daytime agenda items include:

  • Presentation of a proclamation recognizing December 18 as Matthew Lewey Day in Alachua County, Florida
  • Alachua County Land Conservation Board (LCB) appointments
  • Alachua County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
  • Environmental Protection Advisory Committee 2026 Workplan
  • Appoint County Commissioners to boards and committees for 2026 as approved by the County Commission Chair
  • Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers Minimum Flows and Levels (MFL) update
  • Alachua County Forever – Agricultural Land Protection Strategy updates
  • FY26 Budget Amendment
  • Z25-000027 Public Hearing for Unified Land Development Code Amendment for Inclusionary Housing
