An argument over a wet bathroom floor ended with an Ocala man’s arrest after he allegedly chased his sister inside their home while wielding a machete.
A Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a local residence on Saturday, December 6, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a female victim who claimed that her brother, Jimmie Lee Stevens, Jr., had threatened her with a machete, according to the arrest report.
The victim told the deputy that she had gotten into a verbal altercation with Stevens after bathwater was observed on the bathroom floor.
