A 21-year-old Ocala woman was arrested outside a local bar after reportedly leading Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a high-speed chase with speeds exceeding 100 mph.
On Thursday, November 20, an MCSO deputy observed a gray sedan driving at a high speed on SE Maricamp Road. According to the arrest record, the deputy used radar to determine that the car was moving at 112 miles per hour in a regulated 50-mph zone.
Another deputy witnessed the vehicle speeding at the intersection of SE 58th Avenue and SE Maricamp Road before heading west on SE Maricamp Road.
