Gainesville’s The Paper Bag deli expands to Magnolia Parke

  • The Paper Bag deli will open its fourth Gainesville storefront in January at Magnolia Parke, joining locations downtown, Tower Road, and UF campus.
  • Founder Richard Sterck plans a unique menu item for Magnolia Parke and expects to hire six employees with hours from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

The Paper Bag deli will ring in the New Year by opening its fourth Gainesville storefront in January.

The new Magnolia Parke location (4620 NW 39th Ave.) will join The Paper Bag’s spots downtown (11 SE 1st Ave.), on Tower Road (209 NW 75th St., Ste. 30) and on UF’s campus in Newell Hall. (1700 Stadium Rd.).

Founder and owner Richard Sterck told Mainstreet it will serve The Paper Bag’s same unique and classic breakfast and lunch offerings, such as the French Toastwich sandwich and Field of Fruit Dreams salad…
