GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Hillpointe, one of the nation’s fastest-growing multifamily developers and builders, and currently ranked No. 4 on NMHC’s list of top 25 developers for 2025, is excited to announce that construction began in October 2025 on Pointe Grand Gainesville, a three-story, 300-unit attainable multifamily community located at the intersection of SW Williston Road and SW 29th Drive. Hillpointe initially contracted to purchase the development site in June 2024 and subsequently successfully entitled the site for their apartment complex.
The ~25.9-acre project site is located half a mile northeast of I-75, offering convenient north and south access for travel within and outside of the state. Pointe Grand Gainesville will provide convenient access to downtown Gainesville, several major hospitals, and the University of Florida, the largest employer in the region.
