Some volunteers who helped recover more than 80 dogs from three separate properties in Clay and Union counties are sharing their experience with Action News Jax, calling for state lawmakers to work on passing stronger animal cruelty laws during the next legislative session.
One of them is Kate MacFall, the Florida state director of the nationwide nonprofit Humane World for Animals, formerly the Humane Society of the United States.
