Seven different Marion County residents claimed prizes of $1 million or more from scratch-off tickets purchased at local retailers in 2025.
Over the year, Ocala-News.com reported on at least five of the individuals who claimed large prizes from the Florida Lottery. The largest prize of the year went to David Keith Rubin, who claimed $15 million in June. Rubin purchased his winning ticket at the Circle K located at 5201 South Pine Avenue in Ocala and selected the cash option of $8,968,000.
