An Ocala woman is facing animal cruelty charges after two “severely emaciated” dogs were found inside a local residence.
Back on Wednesday, October 22, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a home located on SW 21st Place in reference to two abandoned dogs being found on the property, according to the arrest report.
The deputy arrived on-scene and made contact with a Marion County Animal Control officer who advised that a large, malnourished dog had been spotted inside a home that was believed to be vacant.
