Florida Woman Facing 20 Years In Federal Prison Following Wire Fraud Indictment

An Apopka woman found herself in federal court last week after a grand jury handed down an indictment charging her with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

United States Attorney John P. Heekin, representing the Northern District of Florida, announced the charges against 40-year-old Xin Liu. According to federal prosecutors, the indictment alleges Liu played a role in a conspiracy to defraud, a felony offense that carries significant penalties.
