Florida man accused of robbing Dollar General days after release from prison

SUMMERFIELD, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida man recently released from prison and later arrested in December is accused of robbing a Dollar General only four days into the New Year.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says at about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to a robbery that occurred at a Dollar General, located on 15090 S. U.S. Highway, in Summerfield.

Witnesses at the scene claimed that a man, who was later identified as Dexter Rayonne Jackson, walked into the store wearing a ski mask and holding a firearm and demanded money from store employees. Witnesses told deputies that the suspect said if the store employees did not comply with Jackson’s demands, he would shoot everyone inside…
