Northwest Ocala horse farm sells for $6.1 million

A 27-acre horse farm with several upgrades, including a professional riding arena, multiple paddocks, a heated saltwater pool, and a solar power system with a Tesla battery backup, was just sold this week for $6.1 million, more than quadrupling its sales price from 2020.

Located at 12203 NW 35th Street, the property was sold by Arno Loeffler and Lynn Nelson to Nicholas Potter on Monday, January 5. It is situated in an area that is part of the Farmland Preservation District, less than 10 miles northwest of the World Equestrian Center.

Marion County property records show that the site was purchased by Loeffler and Nelson in March 2022 for $4,250,000 from Michael and Trudi Moore. The Moores purchased the home property for $1.4 million in June 2020.
