Florida Man Arrested Twice In 2 Months After Release From Prison

A Florida man was arrested this week for armed robbery, marking his second arrest since being released from prison for similar offenses in November 2025, authorities said.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to the Dollar General store on U.S. 441 in Summerfield for a report of an armed robbery. Witnesses reported that an armed Black man wearing a ski mask threatened to shoot everyone in the store if the employees did not hand over money. The employees complied, turning over a bag of money, and the suspect fled.

Responding deputies spotted a man matching the suspect’s description and pursued, ultimately apprehending him on the 15100 block of SE 91st Court Road. According to body-worn camera video shared by the sheriff’s office, the suspect was still wearing the ski mask at the time of his arrest…
