A former resident of the Historic Side of The Villages who became homeless has been tracked down after allegedly going on a spending spree with a stolen credit card.
Carianne Blanche Meuse, 38, who previously lived on Boone Court in The Villages, was found in a homeless camp in Belleview and taken into custody on charges of fraud and theft.
A woman reported to her credit card company that she had mysterious charges at Circle K, Kentucky Fried Chicken, a smoke shop, food trucks and Metro PCS, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The charges totaled $1,119.
Meuse was caught on surveillance leaving a store in Belleview with several bags. She got into a silver Lincoln sedan. A detective learned it was a Lyft vehicle and Meuse paid for the ride with the woman’s credit card…
