Rival SEC program attempting to hijack Texas’ top 2027 commit

Easton Royal, the third-ranked wide receiver recruit in the 2027 class, committed to Texas on November 29th. Though he apparently fell in love with Austin during his visit last summer, it looks like he’s unfortunately still “open” to visiting other schools.

Due to him being pretty honest and open about his recruiting mindset, Florida has begun a huge campaign to get him to flip recently. The two parties are scheduled to meet this week and Longhorn Nation is hoping that he leaves Gainesville without flipping.
