A Marion County husband has been arrested on a domestic battery charge after he allegedly struck his wife in the face during an argument over his infidelity, leaving her bruised and bloodied.
On Monday, January 19, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrived at a local residence after receiving reports of a physical altercation involving a married couple. The female victim advised that her husband, 60-year-old Patrick David Burns, “hit (her) head several times” and “caused bleeding and injury,” according to the arrest report.
The victim told the deputy that she was sitting on the couch and watching television with her husband, Burns, when they began arguing about his alleged infidelity. During that verbal altercation, Burns allegedly stood up and struck the victim’s head three times…
