Woman sues HomeGoods in Ocala after tripping over employee working on rug

A Marion County woman has filed a lawsuit against the parent company of T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods, alleging she was injured after tripping over an employee who was working on the floor near a checkout register.

Kathryn Monaco filed the complaint against The TJX Companies, Inc. on Dec. 23 in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County.
