A Marion County woman has filed a lawsuit against Winn-Dixie Stores, LLC, claiming she sustained serious bodily injuries after slipping on a liquid substance in the freezer aisle of a Belleview grocery store last summer.
Patricia Karz filed the complaint on Jan. 16 in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County, seeking a trial by jury and damages in excess of $50,000, which is the jurisdictional limit to qualify for circuit, versus county, court.
