A 58-year-old man accused of choking an elderly victim during a road rage incident at a gas station near a Walmart in Marion County has been found guilty of assault and battery charges.
On Friday, January 23, 2026, Scott Alan Chamness was found guilty as charged for the offenses of burglary of a conveyance with an assault (one count) and battery on a person 65 years of age or older (one count).
